We're Home!

We're home and doing well! Here are some pics from the past couple of days.

I love this picture. I took it the morning we left the hospital.
Getting ready to go home. Greg's family has a thing with bringing babies home from the hospital in BYU attire, so here it is!

Getting home and meeting big brother! We brought her home and got her settled in her swing before Garrett got here. We just decided to let him find her and see what happened. He walked in (eating a chunk of snow) and found her pretty quickly. He went right to her and said, "Baby Abby." It was really sweet.

Garrett even shared his snow and phone with her. We'd say their first meeting was a smashing success.
Snug as a bug and ready for bed.
Garrett woke up this morning and came right into our room calling for Abby. He's pretty intrigued with her and likes to hold her (for about a minute). Garrett is getting adjusted to having a new little person around. He's been pretty good about staying out of trouble while we're taking care of Abby.
Abby got to go swimming today for the first time when Garrett spilled the whole container of water on her while we were giving her a sponge bath. She handled it surprisingly well and was wide awake for the rest of the afternoon.
Spending some quality time with daddy and big brother.

Playing dress-up with this little gal is just too much fun!

I think I really like Greg's family. Maybe I will have to start that tradition in my own family, I think it would go over well :)

That first picture is really fun... Gives you an idea that perhaps she got used to a certain squishy situation for the last little while doesn't it?

This is so fun, she looks like a total doll, congrats!

Awwe, how cute!! Garrett did awesome!! (He must be at a good age for it, because only now is Dax being very protective of his little sister and sort of sharing ;).

She is so beautiful. I cannot believe how much dark hair she has. I loved your post about your delivery. It brought back so many memories from when I had Cooper. I cannot wait to see her in person. We need to have someone in the family come up with an excuse for all of us to get together. How is the house coming?
Congratulations, I am so happy for you and your cute family.

Congratulations on your new little one. She is precious. I agree that 2nd babies are why we have thirds. Now that I've had #3 I'm wondering:)
I had my baby in November so my older girls couldn't come to the hospital either since they had already made that rule. I think it stinks, but they were sure excited when we got home. I bet Garrett is a great big brother.
