Another Day in Nauvoo!

We had a wonderful Sunday here in Nauvoo! It was a busy day and we are all exhausted and heading to bed early tonight. Too many late nights on this trip! Here are some highlights of the day...

Garrett is loving the hotel phone! He's holding it up to his ear and talking on it constantly.

Even the wild child was absolutely amazed and dare I say reverent around the Christus statue. It was really sweet. Look closely at this photo and you can see Garrett's arms are reached out. Love it!

Garrett was pushing Annabelle's stroller around. I think he was trying to get them out of there so they could stir up some trouble!

Not so reverent...

The boys were all excited to visit the Browning home. It is interesting that the founder of the Browning Gun Company was a faithful Latter-day Saint.

Carthage Jai

Among many other naughty other things, Matt and Eric have taught Garrett the joys of playing in the ice machine. Let's just say poor Garrett is going to have a rude awakening when this trip is over!

I'm so jealous. We need to make another trip to Nauvoo now that it isn't so crowded. Garrett looks like he is having a great time. I love the picture of him with his arms reaching out to the Christ statue. Keep having fun!!

So did I ever tell you of the time when kace was 2 and we went to Carthage and he peed outside right where Joseph fell out of the window? IT WAS SO EMBARRASSING. It was all his father's fault for teaching him to pee outside.
Anyway seeing the picture brought back that memory!!

Sounds like you guys are having a blast. I'm sure glad everyone is feeling well and you are enjoying it. Garrett is growing up. They grow up even faster when you don't see them very often. I think he's already bigger since we left and we've barely been gone a week.
