We had a great time at the county fair and rodeo this past weekend.
Garrett got to ride a cow!
Garrett always loves hanging out with his girlfriend Karlie.
We had a blast watching Karlie and Braden show cows.
We entered a bale of our hay in the fair this year and won 2nd place! I was so excited. Greg was really hoping for first and according to him, "If you're not first, you're last," but I was very proud! Garrett just wanted to eat the ribbon--maybe next year it will be blue!
Of course, we had an awesome time at the rodeo Friday night. A horse my sister-in-law Chelsea trained was running the barrels and I caught this little video. This is for you, Chels!

Wow you entered your hay into the fair, that is impressive! HOpefully you got more than the ribbon! :)
Way to go with the hay! I didin't even know they judged hay!
We miss the Fair! I used to run the barrells in front of a crowd like that when I was young. Of course, I did it a little better than she did... but yep, that's my cute horse and she learned everything she knows from me. (i'm not humble about it at all either) :)
Hey! Way to go on the red ribbon ~ that's impressive!! I love the fair ~ crazy people and all!! Who's on the horse running barrels? Good run! Garrett has got to be the cutest thing ever though. He has the Peterson eyes. Cute! Cute! Cute! Looks just like his daddy!
Fun! Don't you love the fair. I'm sad we didn't go to the rodeo this year. I had no idea you could enter a bale of hay! congrats!
I am SUCH proud of you guys with second on the bail of hay. Greg saying that reminds me of those Ne Fear shirts that said "Second place is the first loser." I am sad that I missed the whole fair this year. But we had a good time at the Lake.
