January has always been my least favorite month of the year. Here's a few reasons why:
- Christmas is over.
- Christmas is over.
- Christmas is over.
- It's cold. BRRRR!!!
- Ice (I'm a bit klutzy at times, so ice isn't really my friend.)
- Inversions and yucky air
You get the idea. In fact, I can think of only one reason to love January....
My Abby Baby! She wasn't even due until February and I really didn't want her to have a January birthday, so I was praying to go a week overdue. My doctor even wanted to induce me early because I was showing all of the signs of being ready to deliver early and it could be a fast labor, but I told him I didn't want to and wanted to let her come on her own--and hopefully it would be later than sooner! (I was wishing I would've listened to him when I arrived at the hospital later that night in agony with contractions one minute apart and dilated to almost an 8. Apparently there's a reason we pay him the big bucks--she was ready to come and she came fast!)I am 100% postive that Abby coming early enough to have a January birthday was a gift from heaven to remind me that life is worth living, even during the first yucky month of the year. :) Tomorrow is her big day, and we are so excited to celebrate!

Happy Birthday, Abby! What fun to celebrate her first birthday! Hope you have a great day! And ditto on your feelings about January. I, on the other hand, was praying to deliver Samuel a week early for tax purposes. Am I cheap or what?! I didn't get the answer I wanted though, so we also get to celebrate a January birthday!
That is the cutest picture of Abby. I can't believe it has been a year already. She is getting way too big. She is such a sweetheart. Happy Birthday Abbs!!
She is so gorgeous! I love her and I have never even met her :) This makes me laugh because I keep telling Trent that I hope our baby makes it until at least Feb 1st because I hate January too!
