The Best Big Brother

A few days ago, I was on the phone while Abby was napping and Garrett was "reading." I first heard Abby cry out and then I heard her squealing. When I got off the phone, I went in Abby's room to find this:

Garrett's explanation: "Abbs was sad, so I helped her."

A few other Garrett highlights:

• He also likes to go into Abby's room while she's trying to sleep and sing, "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" to her.
• He continues to make up his own delightful versions of songs. This one is a combination of a new Primary song and a Disney classic. "I know He lives, I walked with him once upon a dream."
• I made ravioli for dinner a night this week. It wasn't Macaroni Grill quality, but I thought it was okay. Garrett took one bite, made a funny face, and said, "It's just a little yuck. Can I have some steak?"
