Ripped Off

Is it just me or does anybody else feel that Farah Fawcett got totally ripped off by dying on the same day as Michael Jackson? I'm not a huge celeb follower, but it seemed to me that Farah got about 2 minutes of press before MJ died and then it was ALL Mikey. Farah had fought a long and difficult battle with cancer, and I personally believe that she deserved better coverage. As for Michael, he was obviously deeply troubled and I'm hoping he's on his way to finding peace in a better world.

Yes, both deaths are tragic. I think the reason MJ is getting all the news is because he really made his fame long before his court appearances. No other album has sold even half the number of copies as Thriller. He was a worldwide phenomenon.

YES! It should be that MJ died on the same day as Farah :)

Kevin and I were talking about the same thing. But I always think celebrity death coverage is strange. Think about all the other people who died the same day--plain ordinary people--and we know nothing about it.

Thanks Nat,
I've pondered the same thoughts. Even thought about blogging about. It's a terrible loss that we no longer have these two people in the world. I mean that totally as performers, not for anything criminal!! LOL. They were both winners. His music will be here forever Farrah, probably will not. What a courageous woman and what a beautiful smile. And poor Ryan O'Neal, This is his second "Love Story." God bless him and her son, and for that matter the children of MJ
