Happy Birthday Susie Q!

Today is my wonderful mom's birthday! We celebrated with a little fiesta at Fredrico's Pizza.

The birthday girl!

The Party Animals...

My mom and Em (my sister) wore the same sweater. Love that! At least it's cute!

Susie Q getting ready to blow out the candles. Isn't she a cute mom?

It was a fabulous party and tons of fun. Brett and Chelsea suprised my mom (and all of us) with some pretty big news, so you'll have to check out their blog. (I don't want to spoil any surprises!)

Susie Q is a great mom and grandma and I am so grateful she is a part of our lives. I don't think I could have picked a better mom, and we have so many fun memories together. She has worked so hard and sacrificed so much for our family, and I am just beginning to truly understand and recognize all that she has done. She is a kind-hearted person and always cheers for the underdog. She cares about everyone--Greg always teases her because she loves to read blogs about people she has never met and worries about their problems. She is totally stalwart (but not at all self-righteous) and has humbly and quietly taught me what it means to be faithful and serve. She is punctual, dependable, practical, and a hard worker. All of these qualities (and more) are why she was voted TEACHER OF THE YEAR at Wellsville Elementary this year! YEEHAW! (She just loves it when we talk about it!)

Happy Birthday! We love you!
