A Few New Tricks

I've finally been able to get some video clips to upload. Enjoy!

Here's Garrett's first trick: Walking! This video is about a month old...it was the first video I took of him walking, so I decided to post it anyways. He's really got the walking thing down now and is a crazy man. Doesn't he look cute in his dino jammies?

Next trick: Talking on the phone. He's been doing this for about a week. Garrett picked up my phone one day, held it up to his ear, started talking, and walking around. He loves to walk around the house "chatting" with all of his many admirers. This isn't the best video, but it will do.

Trick Numero Tres: The Sippee Cup/Straw Routine. We've been trying to introduce Garrett to the sippee cup for a few months now, but he's just flat-out not interested. Apparently he's happy with his bottle and sees no need to change. He does love to drink from straws, though. (We discovered this when Greg was letting him play with the straw in his Diet Coke. Greg told me not to worry because Garrett couldn't get anything out, but the next thing we knew, Garrett was wide-eyed, swallowing DC and loving it. Too bad mean old mom took it away...Garrett was pretty ticked.) Anyways, I saw a sippee cup the other day with a straw and wondered if maybe Garrett would like it. He goes crazy whenever anyone around him has a drink with a straw, and now he has his very own. What a big boy!

Garrett's Last and Best Trick: Throwing a Fit! He really is a super little guy, but what good is a redhead without a little spunk? I think I had done something totally awful here like not letting him eat my camera.
