I'm not sure why it won't let me type this above the picture, but oh well. Garrett loves the new bike he got for his birthday and rides all over the place. Of course, he's had a few crashes, but he is tough and still loves to ride.
We went to see Disney on Ice when it came this spring. The kids loved it. Note to self--it might be worth it to splurge on the lower bowl tickets. Mom went cheap and bought the nosebleeds and we spent the whole night watching through all the overhead spotlights. I guess it's good the kids didn't know any better and were just happy to be there!
Oh, that cute little face! I didn't get any good spring cleaning done this year because all I ever wanted to do is kiss those sweet cheeks. There's always next year, right?

Garrett loved kindergarten and had a great year. He was always so excited to bring home his math tests with 100% scores. He struggled at times to pay attention and focus on his schoolwork, but once he got that down, he did great and we were so proud of him!

One year older and wiser, too! Happy Birthday to me. 32 never felt so great! (Okay, let's be honest, I'm a young mom and tired most of the time, but life is good and I wouldn't trade it.)

The first pic of all the Petersen grandkids together. Yes, there are seven girls and one Garrett. I think the female genes are a bit dominant in our family!
