Deer Camp

We made the annual pilrimage to Franklin Basin for the Petersen Deer Camp. We got brave this year and decided to stay overnight with the kids. As it turns out, we didn't really have to "rough it" much, because my Uncle Ric was there with his 5th-wheel trailer and offered to let us stay inside. He even gave us the master suite. It was awesome and I told Greg I would probably enjoy "camping" a lot more if we could get a "tent" just like Uncle Ric's.

A little wrestling with daddy...

Love this face!

...and this one, too!

Apples for the horses...

The Gal from Snowy River

Poor Garrett was plum-tuckered out from a long day of horse riding and exploring.

My mom made her first deer camp appearance in 30+ years.

Garrett entertained Ella with a nice funny face routine.

It's also been awhile since either of these two ladies have been to Deer Camp.

Looks like fun (in a "glad it was you, not me" sort of way)! Your kids are hilarious and adorable.

Yeah for Deer Camp! We missed being up there so much! It made us homesick to think about it while it was going on.

I somehow missed this post- we had such a blast! And you guys really were brave to stay- lucky that Ric had his "tent"
