So I'm kind of embarassed to admit this, but Garrett is almost 9 months old and for many reasons has still been sleeping in our room in the little cradle he used as a newborn. Last Sunday I was telling my sister how we really need to get him a crib, but he's okay for now because I just wrap him up really tight in the "burrito wrap" and he doesn't move around that much while he sleeps (mostly because there's really nowhere to go.) Just a few nights after that, Garrett started making noises in the night and I was drifting in and out of sleep, but could tell he was awake and playing. He usually sleeps through the night, so I didn't get up to get him and figured he'd go back to sleep. I dozed back off, and a few minutes later Greg nudged me and told me to look at Garrett. He was sitting straight up and looking over the edge of his bed at us with a great big grin on his face. I about died! He was probably about 10 seconds from falling straight out on his head. Needless to say, he spent the rest of the night in bed with us and is currently sleeping in a "pack and play" I borrowed until we can find a crib we like at a good price.

You mean I can't leave Kadence in the bassinet next to our bed till she moves to a twin? Haha sounds like he was way excited to sit up and see you guys! Good luck on the crib shopping, those things are so expensive :(
That was such a cute story. LOL The next thing you know, he'll be in the kitchen fixing him something to eat!! lol!
Seriously, he needs a crib. If for no other reason than to get him out of your bed.I had a friend that started letting her daughter sleep in their bed, (when she wasn't feeling well, or would want to play in the middle of the night.) Before she knew it, it was six years later, they still didn't have that second or third child they had planned on, but still had the daughter in bed with them!! Good luck on finding that crib. lol
Nat that is so funny! Good thing Greg woke up so that he didn't fall out! Kaleb has recently learned to crawl out of the pack and play that he sleeps in at my moms house- too bad I have another baby that is going to use his crib or I'd totally let you use it!
I love it! He is such a character. Yeah, I would say it's time for a crib. Can't wait for Thanksgiving so I can see him crawl.
