More Fun with Reese, County Fair, Swimming Lessons, Etc.

Garrett and Abby were so excited to visit the hospital and meet their new little sister. They are completely in love with her and Garrett says at least a couple times every day, "I really like having a cute little baby in our family."

Grandma Jan came to visit and we were so excited to see her. Garrett and Abby were especially excited to have a sleepover with Grandma and Mal. They were both so helpful and we loved having them here.

Somebody was more than a little tired...it had definitely been an exhausting couple of days!

It's always so fun to get a new baby all dressed up and ready to go home.

Garrett and Abby couldn't wait to hold their little sister again.

We came home Friday afternoon and enjoyed a wonderful weekend as our families and friends visited. I did a terrible job getting pictures of everybody, but we have been overwhelmed by all of the love and kindness shown to us.

Our awesome neighbors let Garrett and Brooklyn show cows at the county fair. Here Garrett is with his little buddy, Timber.

My good friend, Lauryn, came to visit and we introduced Chase and Reese to each other. Aren't they such a cute little couple?

We were so excited to introduce Reese to her great-grandparents.

Garrett and Abby completed another summer of swimming lessons. Garrett loved it, but this was Abby's first year and it was a bit traumatic for her. She would cry the whole way over, but then she did great when she got there and always came out smiling. My awesome sister and Aunt Paula were so great to help with getting the kids to and from their lessons. We never could have pulled it off without them!

I can't even imagine how we would have survived the past few weeks without Emily's help. I am so blessed to have such a great sister and I really hope Abby and Reese are as close as we are.

Grandma Susie flew in from China and we were beyond thrilled to welcome her home! We are missing Grandpa Sparky, but we are so happy to have Grandma home for a few weeks.
