It's been a busy couple of weeks! We spent the weekend of the 4th in Bear Lake with my fam, came home and went straight to SLC for a few days to re-d0/paint Greg's grandparents' fence and deck, Garrett and I jetted back up to Bear Lake for the rest of the week, came home to do the Relay for Life last weekend, and spent a few days at home before cruising back up to Bear Lake for a few days with Greg's fam.
It's taking me forever to upload pictures for some reason, so it's going to take awhile to blog about all of our adventures. I know you're devastated--just be patient! :)
As mentioned in previous posts, the G-Man LOVES water. Well, kind of. He loves the hose, sprinklers, faucets, water in cups/buckets, ice, water toys, etc. However, he has decided in the past month he HATES the bathtub and absolutely refuses to have a bath. We have no idea what caused it, but it has made for some interesting times at our house. He starts to scream the second we take his clothes off and start heading toward the bathroom. (Which is really interesting because he used to go stand by the bathtub with his arms up, just waiting for us to take his clothes off so he could get in.) These days, he stiffens his whole body, clenches his fists tight together, and refuses to get in. He screams when we put him in the tub and will not sit down. It's the strangest thing. However, he sees a sprinkler going a block away and takes off running as fast as he can for it. Go figure. Being the smart parents we are, we have started taking the soap outside and just washing him down as he plays in the sprinkler. He's probably not even close to 100% clean, but it will have to do until I feel like fighting him again for a real bath.
Anyways, during our first of many trips to Bear Lake, we hooked up the sprinkler and the little stinker had a grand time. Little Gracie is not so fond of the sprinkler. She is as cautious as Garrett is fearless. She was very content to just watch Garrett get wet--at least she looks stinkin' cute in her little swimsuit.
As you can see, we had a grand time at the family cabin. Tomorrow I plan to post about the Relay for Life and then I will move on to our most recent trip to Bear Lake. (I'm all about chronological order--it's the OCD in me!)

I feel tired- just reading about your last couple of weeks! Garrett in the sprinkler is the best- is seriously is fearless! Good thing he has miss Brooklyn to mother him!
A trilogy! I'm on the edge of my seat for the next two! Those are some great pics, and I don't care what the Phillips boys say, I love Garrett's swim shirt. Btw, thanks again for your hospitality at Bear Lake. It was so much fun!
I can tell you why the little lad won't get in the tub. Probably one of his mean uncles (Phillips boys) tried to drown him in the tub.It was probably that Eric kid!! lol
It sounds like he's afraid of the tub for some reason.
Love and miss you all.
